Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez has been a Cuban and American television arbitrator since Caso Cerrado. She was born in Havana Cuba Ana moved to Miami at the age of 2 years old and was accompanied with her parents. In Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo hosts of renowned Telemundo program "Caso Cerrado" which was the first Spanish language program nominated for the Daytime Emmy(r) Award. It was also was ranked in 2015 as the most popular Spanish-language programming at 4pm across key demos. Polo was born on the 11th of April of 1959 Havana, Cuba and went on to attend Florida International University, where she graduated with a diploma in the field of political science. After earning her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for nearly 20 years. After obtaining her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for more than 20 years. Her legal skills were used on other court shows, and Telemundo Sala de Parejas 2001, as well as on the show Sala de Parejas. Literary Works and Accolades In 1958, she wrote the book Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children), with which she won the Critic's Prize and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute fled Spain in the United States 1960. Breast cancer survivors, Polo frequently speaks and raises funds for the causes. Polo has been a vocal advocate for LGBT rights throughout her career. She is a lawyer of the University of Miami School of Law as well as also a Florida Bar Member.
